The 2 capes

The Great Site of the 2 capes.

Is the first site to be labeled ‘Grand Site de France’.
The site represents a coastline of 23 km and 8 towns. The Two Capes is not only a wild land of exception but 23 kilometers of coastline inhabited by 5,000 people.
The eight towns of Wimereux, Ambleteuse, Audresselles, Audinghen, Tardinghen, Wissant, Escalles and Sangatte have a rich heritage to consolidate and preserve.

A protected site

It is a duty to preserve the Two Capes from the threats and attacks it is subject to, so can be transmitted to future generations. The State has distinguished the site of the Two Capes, because of its remarkable landscapes, as fragile as attractive and therefore crowded (over a million tourists a year).
